About Dr Maseko


Dr Ncamsile Fansile Maseko is a highly experienced medical practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, possessing a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her field. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010.

At the start of her career, Dr Maseko gained extensive training from an internship at Pietermaritzburg Hospital Complex and year-long community service at Witbank Provincial Hospital. Following her training, she held three medical officer positions from 2014 to 2018 at several notable hospitals, including Witbank Provincial Hospital, Pretoria West District Hospital, and Kalafong Provincial Hospital. During this time, Dr Maseko gained her Diploma in Obstetrics from The College of Medicine of South Africa.

In 2018, Dr Maseko left her position as Medical Officer to pursue her dream of specialising in women’s health. She was appointed as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Tembisa Provincial Tertiary Hospital while completing her MMed (O&G) at the University of Pretoria in 2022.

In addition to these qualifications, Dr Maseko was awarded a Fellowship of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists by The College of Medicine of South Africa in 2022 and has published an academic journal titled A 10-year Audit of Pregnancies Affected by Diabetic Ketoacidosis at the Pretoria Academic Complex.
